2009 Legislative Session - CPS Legislative Update

The 2009 Legislative Session is now history.  I made two trips to Austin to speak wih the legislators about the problems faced by families in the State of Texas when CPS comes knocking on their doors.  After the dust settles, I'll be posting some of the changes, good and bad which have come out of this legislative session.

Just because the session is over, doesn't mean we should take a vacation from contacting our legislators about needed changes for the Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS).  We are striving to educate as many parents as possible about their rights as parents.  We need to take back our liberty to act in our families' best interests.  Continue to write your legislators both in Austin and Washington D.C. about the issues which concern us all.
